TROUBLESHOOTING YOUR OSTER
Your Oster
Coffee Dispenser has been carefully designed to give you many years
®
of trouble-free service. In the unlikely event that your new Coffee Dispenser does not
operate satisfactorily, please review the following potential problems and try the steps
recommended BEFORE you take it to an Authorized Oster
pROBLEM
Coffee is leaking from the coffee
dispenser.
Water is leaking from the coffee
dispenser.
The coffee chamber does not fit
into the coffee dispenser.
The coffee does not dispense
from the chamber.
Replacement parts
Coffee Filters – 10–12 cup basket-style paper filers can be found at most grocery stores
and other retailers. If you need to replace the permanent filter, it can be found at some
retail stores or at the nearest Authorized Oster
Repairs
If your Coffee Dispenser requires service, do not return it to the store where you
purchased it. All repairs and replacements must be made by a local Authorized Oster
Service Center.
pOSSIBLE CAUSE
The coffee chamber is not
positioned properly into the base.
The brew basket is not positioned
properly.
The coffee chamber was not
empty when the brewing cycle
began.
The drip tray is full and causing
an overflow.
Too much water was poured into
the water reservoir.
The coffee chamber lid is not
attached properly.
The coffee-dispensing pedal is not
being activated properly.
There is no coffee in the chamber.
The chamber lid is not sealed
properly.

Make sure the coffee chamber is
inserted properly and pushed in
completely.
Make sure the brew basket is
inserted properly.
Make sure the coffee chamber is
emptied before beginning a brew
cycle.
Clean the drip tray periodically to
make sure coffee build up does
not occur.
Pour only 12 cups of water into
the reservoir and do not exceed
the overfill hole located in the
back of the reservoir.
Make sure the coffee camber lid
is assembled correctly and locked
into pace as described in the brew
now section or quick start guide.
Make sure the pedal is pushed
back enough to activate the
pump.
Pull out your coffee chamber and
verify if coffee is inside.
Make sure the lid seal is cean and
free of debris as described in the
cleaning section of the instruction
manual.
