ELECTROSTATIC (Some Models)
The exhaust filter must be replaced when
dirty. It should be replaced regularly
depending on use conditions.
The filter CANNOT be washed as it will
lose its dust trapping ability.
Note: See PARTS AND FEATURES
for the exhaust filter number.

grasping the
handle and
rotating out
from vacuum.
Remove filter
from cover.

Filter Cover
Replace the exhaust filter, carefully posi-
tioning it so that it fits into the filter cover.
The white side of
the filter should
be facing
towards the
cover,

Replace the exhaust filter and cover by
placing tab in slots and rotating in until
cover snaps into place.
Note: Do not operate vacuum unless filter
and cover are in place.
HEPA (Some Models)

Filter Cover filter cartridge
Handle from cover.
Replace the HEPA exhaust filter, carefully
positioning it so that it fits into the filter
cover,
The foam seal
of the filter
should be
placed
against the
vacuum
cleaner body

Replace the exhaust filter cover by plac-
ing bottom tabs in slots and rotating in
until cover snaps into place.
Push only on filter cartddge frame, not on
filter material itself.
