please read the instructions carefully.
The safety precautions listed here reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury when
followed correctly. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference, as well as the war-
ranty, purchase receipt and box. If applicable, give these instructions to the future owner of
the appliance. Always follow basic safety instructions and risk prevention measures when
using an electrical appliance. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for any damage
resulting from the user's failure to follow these instructions.
Before using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should al-
ways be followed.
• This appliance is not intended for use in domestic and similar applica-
tions such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other work en-
vironments, cottages, hotels, motels and other residential type environ-
ments.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or base
in water or other liquid.
WARNING: This electrical appliance contains a heating function. Surfac-
es other than functional surfaces can develop high temperatures. Since
temperatures are perceived differently by different people, this product
should be used with great caution.
• This product should be touched only on the intended gripping surfaces,
and use heat protection such as gloves or the like. Surfaces other than
the intended gripping surfaces should be allowed sufficient time to cool
before being touched.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before removing removable parts and cleaning.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
a qualified person to avoid a hazard.
• The use of accessories not recommended by the appliance manufac-
turer may cause injury. Do not use accessories other than those recom-
mended.
• This product is not intended for outdoor use.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place product near or on a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
• Be very careful when moving an appliance that contains hot oil or other
liquids.
• Do not plug in the appliance or operate the control panel with wet hands.
• Do not fill the basket with oil as this could cause a fire hazard.
