USE
ADJUSTING THE LOUDNESS
Whilst the sound is playing, press LOUDNESS to activate or deactivate sound level control.
SOUND OFF MODE
Whilst the sound is playing, press MUTE to turn the sound off or on.
BACKLIGHTING
Press DIM on the remote to modify the LCD screen's brightness.
EQUALIZER
Press P-EQ repeatedly to adjust the sound according to the type of music:
POP
FLAT
SETTING THE CLOCK
In stand-by mode:
• Press CLOCK and hold it down for 2 seconds.
• Press 7/8 or VOL +/– to go into 12-hour or 24-hour clock modes.
• Press CLOCK to confirm: the hour display flashes.
• Adjust the hour using the 7 8 keys or VOL +/–. Press CLOCK to confirm.
• Repeat the above process to set the minutes.
SET THE ALARM
In stand-by mode:
• Press and hold TIMER for two seconds.
• Press 7 / 8 or VOL +/– to select TUNER or USB as alarm source.
• Press TIMER to confirm: the hour display flashes.
• Adjust the hour using the 7 / 8 keys or VOL +/–. Press TIMER to confirm.
• Repeat the above process to set the minutes.
• Press 7 / 8 or VOL +/– to adjust the volume.
• The symbol
appears on the screen.
ACTIVATE / DEACTIVATE THE ALARM.
In stand-by mode,
• Press TIMER repeatedly: the symbol
whether the alarm is activated or not.
Note:
• If the USB source is selected, but no USB device is connected, the device automatically
switches into FM.

USING THE RADIO
• Press FUNCTION on the device or FM on the remote to select TUNER function.
• Set the radio to the desired station using the 5 and 6 buttons: the frequency is displayed
on the LCD screen.
• Press 5 and 6 for 2 seconds to show all the frequencies, then release to start automatic
scanning: the search will automatically stop when the radio picks up the nearest station.
Note: to improve reception, use the FM antenna at the back of the device.
PROGRAMMING RADIO STATIONS
Manual programming:
• Select the station you wish to save.
• Press PROG on the remote: the program mode (P- 01) will be displayed.
• Press 7 and 8 to select a program number.
• Press PROG to memorise each station (maximum 20).
Automatic programming:
Press PROG for 3 seconds: the programming starts automatically and saves the stations
picked up by the radio.
Accessing the saved stations:
• Press 7 and 8 to see memorised stations.
RDS FUNCTION
RDS function (Radio Data System) displays extra information for certain stations.
To use these functions, press DISPLAY repeatedly on the remote. The functions appear in the
following order:
• PTY (Program Type): indicates the type of programmed broadcast out of 32 predefined
types
• CT (Clock Time): displays the time according to the station and sets the time on the
device.
• RT (Radio Text): displays information on the music being played (title, artist's name).
Synchronize the clock with the RDS.
To tune an RDS radio station that transmits time signals:
• Press DISPLAY for more than 2 seconds.
• [CT SYNC] appears and the device automatically reads the RDS time.
• If no time signal is received, [NO CT] appears.
Note:
The exactitude of the time broadcast depends on the RDS station that is transmitting the
signal.
