Preliminary Set-up
1. Thread the tape.
2. Set the REEL Size Selector Switch to match the reel
size.
3. Set
the
tape
SPEED
Selector
Switch
to
match
the
speed used during recording. (See page 6)
. Set the OUTPUT Selector Switches to TAPE position.
. Set the REC MODE Switches (L & R) to OFF to prevent
accidental erasure of your tape.
6. Adjust
the OUTPUT
Level Controls to approximately
the 12 o'clock position (1/2 turn clockwise from min.).
. Verify the connections between all components.
8. Prepare
the stereo amplifier for tape playback accord-
ing to its instruction manual.
NOTE:
The BIAS and EQ Switches have no effect during
playback.
