• Fill the tank with a mixture of 50%
water and 50% white vinegar and
run the appliance without inserting
the filter and without ground
coffee (following the instructions
given in "Using the drip coffee
maker").
• When all the mixture has passed
through the filter holder, the
appliance switches off.
• Repeat the operation again using
the same mixture.
• After this operation, rinse the jug,
tank and filter holder thoroughly
under running water.
• Fill the tank again with only water
and run the appliance two more
times to rinse it thoroughly.
• You can also use specific anti-scale
products available on the market.
In this case, follow the instructions
given on the product packaging
very carefully.
Coffee machines that do not work
properly due to the failure to remo-
ve limescale are not covered by the
warranty.
PROBLEMS

Solution:
- check that
• the appliance is plugged in
Problem:
- the appliance does not work
well or the water tank empties
completely.
Solution:
- check that
• the plug is properly inserted in the
power socket;
• there is enough water in the tank;
• the tank and/or filter holder and
filter are not clogged with limescale.
Problem:
- the coffee comes out very slowly.
Solution:
- check that
• the coffee is not ground too finely;
• the filter holder, filter and jug are
inserted correctly;
• the tank and/or filter holder
and filter are not clogged with
limescale.
Problem:
- the water leaks out of the back of
the machine
Solution:
- check that
• there is not too much water in the
tank;
• the tank is in the correct position.
