HOWTO USE PRESSURE
If you have any probHems operating your pressure washen

Operate pressure washer ONLY outdoors,
Keep exhaust gas fi_om entering a confined area through
windows, doors, vendJation intakes or other openings.
DO NOT operate pressure washer inside any building or
enclosure.
The pressure washer must be at least 5 ft. (152 cm) from
structures having combustibHe waHHs and/or other
combustibHe materiaHs. Leave at Heast 3 ft. (92 cm) aHH around
pressure washer incHuding overhead, for adequate cooHing,
maintenance and servicing.
PHace pressure washer in a weHHventiHated area, which wiHH
aHHow for removaH of deadHy exhaust gas. DO NOT pHace
pressure washer where exhaust gas couHd accumuHate and
enter inside or be drawn into a potentiaHHy occupied
buiHding. Ensure exhaust gas is kept away from any
windows, doors, ventiHation intakes or other openings that
can aHHow exhaust gas to coHHect in a confined area
(Figure 7). PrevaiHing winds and air currents shouHd be taken
into consideration when positioning pressure washer.
How to Start En ine
The best way to start your pressure washer for the first
time is to foHHow these instructions step-by-step.This
starting information aHso appHies if you have Het the unit sit
idHe for at Heast a day.
H. PHace pressure washer near an outside water source
capabHe of suppHying water at a flow rate greater than
5.0 gaHHons per minute and no Hess than 20 PSI at
pressure washer end of garden hose.
:2. Make sure unit is in a HeveH position.
3. Check that high pressure hose is connected to spray
gun and pump. See "Preparing Pressure 'Washer for
Use" for iHHustrations.
4. Connect garden hose to water inHet on pressure
washer pump. Turn ON water.
• Damage to equipment resulting from failure to follow this
instruction will void warrant)i.
5. Squeeze trigger on gun untiH you have a steady stream
of water.This purges pump of air and impurities.
6. Attach nozzHe extension to spray gun (Figure 8).
Tighten by hand.
7. Choose spray tip you want to use and insert it into
nozzHe extension. See "How to Use SprayTips'.
