Inserting and Releasing Battery
Pack
(Fig. 1)
To insert the battery pack:
1. Slide charged Battery Pack 9 into the
housing until the battery pack locks into
position.
To check if the battery is locked in place,
lightly pull the battery in the opposite direc-
tion. If the battery moves, do not use the
tool and repeat the insertion procedure until
the battery is locked in place and does not
slide backwards.
Your tool is equipped with a secondary lock-
ing latch to prevent the battery pack from
completely falling out of the handle, should
it become loose due to vibration.
To remove the battery pack:
1. Press the Battery Pack Release Button
10 and slide the Battery Pack 9 forward.
2. Press the Battery Pack Release Button
10 again and slide the Battery Pack 9
completely out of tool housing.
Changing the Nosepiece
(Fig. 2)
The Nosepiece Magazine 4 contains nose-
pieces of three different sizes, enabling the
user to exchange nosepieces quickly.
1. Use the Wrench 8 to unscrew the Nose-
piece 1 from the Cover Sleeve 2.
2. Screw the new Nosepiece 1 on and
tighten it with the Wrench 9.
Empty the Mandrel Container
(Fig. 3)
Always empty the Mandrel Container 5 for
broken-off rivet mandrels before it is com-
pletely full in order to prevent blockages.
1. Unscrew the Mandrel Container 5 by
turning it anticlockwise.
2. Empty the Mandrel Container 5 into a
suitable recycling or waste bin.

Assembly
Disconnect battery pack from tool before making any assembly, adjust-
ments or changing accessories. Such preventive safety measures reduce

3. Screw the Mandrel Container 5 back
onto the power tool by turning it clock-
wise.
