Automatic time setting (DST)
The integrated clock is programmed so that
it will automatically switch to summer or
winter time. During the summer time, the DST
information appears in the display.
Manually setting the time
If the station does not receive a time signal
automatically, the time can be set manually.
If a signal is received again, the set time is
automatically synchronized.
1. Press and hold down the DISPLAY SET
(TIME SET) (Fig. 1, 5) button for about 2 sec-
onds until the 12/24-hour format flashes.
2. Press CH + (Fig. 1, 3) or MEM- (Fig. 1,
4) buttons to switch between 12 - or 24-hour
modes.
3. Press the DISPLAY SET button again to
switch for inputting the hours.
4. Press CH + (Fig. 1, 3) or MEM- (Fig. 1, 4)
buttons, to set the desired value.
5. Carry out the remaining settings as
described above in the following order: for
the time signals DCF (Germany) and MSF
(UK): 12/24 Hr> hours> minutes> seconds>
time difference in hours.

6. Press the DISPLAY SET button again to
save the settings and exit the setting mode.
Pay attention: If your current time deviates
from the time, which the station automatically
receives, you can adjust the time deviation or
differing time zone.
For DCF/MSF: A time deviation of -23 to +23
hours can be set. After the time deviation is
set, the station displays the received time
taking into account the set time deviation.
Setting the alarm
1. Press the ALARM SET button (Fig. 1, 2) in
the display mode to select the alarm mode. The
selected alarm mode appears in the display
above the alarm time.
2. Press and hold down the ALARM SET (Fig.
1, 2) button in the alarm mode for about 2
seconds until the hour display flashes.
3. Press CH + (Fig. 1, 3) or MEM- (Fig. 1, 4)
buttons, to set the desired value.
4. Press the ALARM SET button again to
switch for inputting the minutes. The minute
display flashes. Press CH + (Fig. 1, 3) or MEM-
(Fig. 1, 4) buttons, to set the desired value.
