- Página 6 Getting Started Step 1 Checking the package contents Make sure you have received the following items in the package. If anything is missing, contact your local Sony dealer. Telephone Handset Telephone line cords (2) Handset cord Size AA (R6) batteries (4)
- Página 7 When to replace the batteries Replace the batteries when the i indicator appears on the display. Battery life: about 10 months (using Sony manganese (R6) batteries under normal operation) Note Do not take more than one minute to replace the batteries; otherwise you’ll loose all your data and settings.
- Página 8 Step 2: Setting up the telephone (continued) When the batteries are expired • When the batteries are expired, the display is turned off, but you can make or receive calls. You can’t do any other operations. • When the batteries are expired, all your data and settings will be erased. Connect the telephone If you want to hang the telephone on the wall, see page 26.
- Página 9 To tilt the phone If you want to tilt the phone, attach the supplied wall bracket on the bottom of the telephone. Put the four pads into the pads hollows of the wall bracket. Attach the wall bracket to the telephone.

In order to use this feature, you must first subscribe to Caller ID service. The name of this service may vary depending on your telephone company.
