Use these buttons for @ program record play, ® direct song
selection and © forward/backward skip.
@® For
program
record
play (use these
buttons
before
beginning record play)
1. Press the program buttons of the songs to be played in
the order they are to be heard. The tonearm will move
to the innermost grooves of the record and return to
the rest position.
2. Press the start button. The tonearm will move to the
first programmed song and program record play will
begin.
For direct song
selection
(use these
buttons
before
beginning record play)
1. Press the kd forward skip/search button for less than
one second.
2. Press the program
button of the song you want to
hear.
3. Press the start button. The tonearm will move to the
programmed song and record play will begin.
© For forward or backward skip
1. Press the forward or backward skip/search button for
less than one second.
2. Before
the
tonearm
begins
to
move,
press
the
program button of the number of songs to be skipped
from the present location.
Skip play cannot function if a program button is pressed
after the tonearm has begun to move to the left or right.

When in the program play mode
The indicators of the programmed songs illuminate.

record
play, the indicator
of the song
being
played flashes on and off.

played,
the corresponding
indicator goes out.

When in the skip play mode

each
time a
button is pressed.
2. When the play mode begins, the indicator goes out.
@ Upper cabinet (dust cover)
Contains
the tonearm
drive system.
Must
be completely
closed before starting record play.
@® Optical sensor
Used to detect the presence or absence of a record, record
size and the locations of the spaces between the songs
(tracks) on a record.
@Reset switch
There is no need to operate this switch yourself.
This switch causes the tonearm to return to the rest position
when the upper cabinet is opened.
@ Stylus set-down position

Use this knob when playing non-standard records.
@Record size selector

transparent records, blue records and 25 cm (10") diameter
records, and then move
the tonearm
to the correct start
position using the search function. When this selector is set
to manual, the program
record play, skip play and repeat
play functions will not operate.
