unplugging the heater, do not pull the cord as this can cause damage. Instead,
grasp the plug firmly and pull it out of the socket.
13. Keep the heater clean. Do not let anything enter the ventilation or exhaust opening
– this can cause an electric shock, fire or damage to the heater. Do not use the
appliance for anything other than its intended use. This appliance is for domestic
indoor use only.
14. There might be a slight odour during the first few minutes of initial use, or after
being stored for a long period. This is normal and will quickly disappear.
15. Do not use this heater if the glass is damaged.
16. Do not use extension cords for this heater. The cord could overheat, which is a fire
hazard.
17. This fireplace gets hot during use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch the
hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this appliance.
18. Keep combustible materials (furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothes and
curtains) at least three feet from the front and sides of this appliance.
19. The appliance is for indoor use only. It is not to be used in bathrooms, laundry
areas or similar locations. Do not use this appliance near bathtubs or other bodies
of water.
