Q LOG series chargers are equipped with an internal bootloader that allows
to update the installed firmware.

After switching on the charger, the current version of firmware is temporarily
displayed on the screen.
WARNING: After updating the firmware of the charger the current
settings of voltage, current, charge curve and end of charge
will be deleted and restored to factory defaults (that is the maximum
voltage and current with charging curve WET DEEP and EQUALIZE
as the end of charge. After the update, if necessary, set up
the appropriate parameters using the Shooter Program.
To update the firmware, you need to use a USB flash drive and insert it into
the appropriate connector on the front panel of the charger (see pages 3-4)
containing the file with a new firmware version.
With the charger switched off and disconnected from the battery,
unscrew the USB connector cover on the front panel of the charger.
Insert the USB flash drive into the connector.
Switch on the charger.
The screen will display information about
uploading new firmware.
A confirmation message appears when
the upload is completed.
Disconnect the USB flash drive and screw the connector cover.
After disconnecting the USB flash drive, the charger restarts automatically
with the new firmware installed.
