PEDAL-AND-KEY OPERATION
Entering Setting Mode
2) While holding down the key, release your foot from the pedal.
3) Finally, release your finger from the key and you will successfully enter the "setting mode".

To exit "setting mode", depress the sustain pedal (right pedal). Then you can play the HA-11 in the settings
you have selected.

Every time you turn power off, the HA-11 will revert to the
original factory settings and all the settings you have selected
will be initialized.
Resonance
When you play the acoustic piano with holding down sustain pedal, even the strings which are not hit
also vibrate. KAWAI's Sympathetic Resonance simulates this co-vibration of the strings. Hold down
sustain pedal while playing the HA-11 and then resonance will automatically activate. There are three
resonance levels available:
OFF: adds no resonance.
NORMAL: simulates the natural resonance characteristics of an acoustic piano.
DEEP: Produces a more intensive resonance.
