2. Selecting a reverb
Reverb adds a rich ambient effect to the digital sound. The HA-11
has five reverb types and you can select
ROOM, STAGE and HALL on the panel.
ROOM:
simulates a soft reverberation of a small room.
Ц
STAGE:
simulates the sound of playing on stage.
REVERB
HALL:
simulates the deep reverberation of large concert hall.
ROOM
*3D ROOM:
simulates the three-dimensional sound of a small room.
STAGE
*3D HALL:
simulates the three-dimensional sound of a large concert hall.
HALL
*3D ROOM and 3D HALL can be selected on Pedal-And-Key Operation. (See page 10)

The reverb type changes each time the REVERB button is pressed. It is set to "ROOM" when the power is
turned on.
3. Recording function
The HA-11 is equipped with a digital recorder which records what you play on the
Recorder Section
piano and plays it back. If you want to practice playing and check your playing by

yourself, this function is very useful. With the Recorder, it is also possible to play

two parts by yourself. Record one part first and play it back with the recorder while

you play another part in real time.
1) Recording
Press the REC button. The HA-11 will be ready for recording. To cancel the recording, press the REC
button again. Playing the piano will automatically start the recording. You can also start recording by
pressing the PLAY/STOP button instead of a key. Press the PLAY/STOP button when you have finished
playing.
The total recording capacity is approximately 5,000 notes and the piano stores what you have recorded in
memory even after the power is turned off. Each time you start recording again, the HA-11 will erase your
performance previously recorded.
2) Playing back
Press the PLAY/STOP button.
The song will be played back using the same tone with which it was
recorded. Press the PLAY/STOP button once again to stop the playback. If you do not press the
PLAY/STOP button, playback will automatically stop when the song is finished.
