Grill function (IFU078B0 only)
Use the grill function with the recommended griddle plate for induction.
1. Switch on the hob and position the griddle plate.
2. Use the front power setting display (as a key) to select a cooking zone.
The stand-by dot of the cooking zone selected will light up.
3. Press the Grill key to activate the grill function. The front and back
cooking zones are switched together.
4. Select the desired cooking level using the slider area. Insert the food to
be grilled.
Level 1-3 for vegetables
Level 4-6 for fish
Level 7-9 for meat
5. To switch off the grill function press the Grill key or switch. off the hob.
Notes:
• Never operate the appliance unattended.
• Set the power levels just as you wish.
Connectivity features
The connectivity functions are available if you have an Opera hood with connectivity paired with one of the
following Opera's Fusion hobs: model IFU038A0, IFU058A0, IFU078A0, IFU088A0
Functions work after pairing as described on page 28.
Manual fan
1. Precondition: the hob is switched on. Select the fan power
setting display (as a key).
2. Select the desired fan speed using the slider area (sensor
field) from 0 to P.
Notes:
To switch off the fan, select fan power setting display, then touch level 0 on the slider control.
Automatic fan (Default configuration)
It is possible to let the fan run automatically: fan speed is automatically regulated depending on cooking
zones power levels.
Notes:
• To activate the automatic fan press the "A" key. The Automatic fan key will light up brightly.
• An increasing of cooking zones power will cause an automatic increase of fan speed.
• A decreasing of cooking zones power will cause an automatic decrease of fan speed.
• To deactivate automatic fan, press fan power setting display and select the desired fan speed from the
slider area. Manual mode is activated and the active level is displayed.
• The actual steam generation is delayed. When changing the cooking level, the automatic fan level
follows generally after 20 sec delay.
