VERIFYING ACCURACY OF LASER LEVELS
90º ACCURACY BETWEEN Y-PLANE AND Z-PLANE BEAMS
Position the instrument on the floor and turn on one of the beams.
Mark the center of that beam at three locations (a, b, c) with a spacing
of ≥14' (4.25 m) (FIG. 5). Turn on the other beam and align so it
crosses through b. Mark point e ≥14' (4.25 m) from the instrument
on the laser line that also passes through mark b (FIG. 6). Rotate the
instrument 90° and over the initially marked line so the side laser
line passes through b and e and mark point f (FIG. 7). The maximum
distance between a and f is shown in the 90º ACCURACY BETWEEN
Y-PLANE AND Z-PLANE BEAMS table .
