MAGNETIC MOUNTING BRACKET 12
A magnetic mounting bracket is included with the product. The instrument can
be mounted on the bracket via its 1/4" threaded screw 13 . The bracket may
be magnetically attached to any ferromagnetic structure such as steel studs,
ducts, structural beams, and steel doors. The bracket also features a keyhole
for mounting the instrument using a screw or nail to non-ferrous structures.
Once mounted to a structure via the mounting bracket, the instrument can be
rotated on the bracket through 360° to direct the laser beams.
MANUAL TILT MODE
Manual Tilt Mode locks the laser pendulum in place to allow the user
to cast laser lines at any angle. This is useful for angled construction
such as stairs or railings. While the pendulum is locked, press and hold
the Z-Plane button 3 for three seconds to enable Manual Tilt Mode.
Once enabled, press any of the laser buttons 1 , 2 , 3 to enable the
corresponding laser. While in this mode, the laser lines will blink once
every five seconds. To turn off manual tilt mode, press and hold the
Z-Plane button 3 for three seconds.
