Step 2
Assemble the Adjustment Arms & Connector Plate
Overlap the holes in the Adjustment Arms – one in front of the other, with the
Support Bars facing in the same direction and away from you (see Fig. 2).

Place the Connector Plate behind the overlapping Adjustment Arms - and on
the same side of the Adjustment Arms where the Support Bars are connected.
Align the overlapping holes of the Adjustment Arms with one of the holes in
the Connector Plate.

Insert the Long Bolt through a Washer and the two holes in the Adjustment
Arms, and through the one (top) hole in the Connector Plate. Insert the Short
Bolt through the (bottom) hole in the connector plate.

Step 3
Attach the Connector Plate to the Upright
Attach the Connector Plate to the Upright by inserting the Long Bolt through
one of the holes in the Upright, for example, through the 6th hole from the
top of the Upright (see Fig. 3) or an alternative hole depending on the size
of your bicycle. Tighten both Bolts using 2x Washers, 2x Nuts and the Socket
Wrench (see Fig. 4).

Step 4
Set the Adjustment Arms & Support Bars
To support the sides of the fender or rack of your bicycle when stored on the
Bike Nook™ Pro, the Adjustment Arms can be set with the Support Bars at
various distances apart - from narrow to wide (see Fig. 5 – 7).
FIG. 5
If your bicycle is fitted with just a fender, measure the width of the fender. If it
is fitted with just a rack or a rack and a fender, measure the width accordingly.
With the Long Bolt only lightly tightened, set the Support Bars at the desired
distance apart by rotating the Adjustment Arms so that the distance between
the two Supporting Bars is slightly wider than the width of the fender or the rack.
Note: When rotating the Adjustment Arms, ensure that the Adjustment Arms
are set at the same angle and symmetrical to one another.
Once set to the desired width, measure the height of the Support Bars above
the Track. This should be approximately half the diameter of the wheel of your
bicycle. At this height, the Support Bars can effectively support the sides of
the fender or the rack when your bicycle is stored. If not, unscrew the Long
Bolt and the Short Bolt and reposition the Connector Plate to be lower or
higher on the Upright to achieve the desired height of the Support Bars.
Securely tighten and lock the Long Bolt to ensure that the Adjustment Arms
remain in the set position (see Fig. 7 above). Also tighten the Short Bolt.
