Replacethe fuel line; fill tank with clean,fresh
gasoline and replace fuel filter.

Clear vent or replace cap if damaged.
5.
Drain fuel tank. Refill withclean, fresh gasoline.
6.
Replace air cleaner paper elementor clean foam
pro-cleaner, if equipped.
Firl crankcasewith proper amountand weighi oi"oill
Clean grass clippings and debrisfrom around the
engine'scooling finsand housing.
Removespark plug and reset the gap.
Replacespark plug. Set plug gap.
Replaceair cleaner elementand/or clean pro-
cleaner.

Tighten blade and spindle.
2.
Replaceblade.
1.
Place throttle in FAST(rabbit) position.
2.
Do not mulch when grass is wet.
3.
Mow once at a high cutting height, then mow again
at desiredheight or make a narrowercutting swath.
4.
Sharpen or replaceblade.
1.
Perform side-to-sidedeck adjustment.
2.
Sharpenor replaceblade.
3.
Check tire pressure in a]l four tires.
