Wash Temp
Adjustto selectthe proper water temperature for the wash cycle.The prewashand rinsewater is always cold to help
reduceenergyusage and reducesetting of stains and wrinkles.
Followthe fabric manufacturer's care labelwhen selectingthe wash temperature.
Tochangethe wash temperature,pressthe WASHTEMPbutton until you have reachedthe desiredsetting. Youcan
choose betweenTap Cold,Cold,Warm, Hot or Sanitize. T he Sanitizedwash temperature is not availableon certain cycles,
such as Delicates.

When selectingthe Sanitizewash temperature,the washer increasesthe water temperature to sanitize and killmore
than 99% of many common bacteriafound in home laundry.The sanitizewash temperature is only availableon the
Whites/Heavy Dutywash cycle.For best results,selectthe heavy soilsetting when using the Sanitizewash temperature
setting.
NOTE: T hefirst 10 secondsof the wash fill is always cold.This featureassistsin conditioningthe fabricandpreventingstains
from setting on garments.
START/PAUSE
Pressto start a wash cycle.If the washer is running,pressingit once will pause the washer and unlock the door.
Itwill take o few secondsfor the door to unlock after pressingPAUSE, Pressagain to restart the wash cycle.
NOTE: I f the washeris pausedand the cycleisnot restartedwithin 15 minutes,the currentwash cyclewill be cancelled.
NOTE: I n somecyclesthe washer will drain first, then unlockthe door when it ispaused.
NOTE: T hewasherperforms automaticsystem checksafter pressingthe START button.Waterwill flow in 45 seconds
or less.Youmay hear the door lockand unlock beforewater flows;this is normal.
Settings
Use the SETTINGSbutton to adjust
the following features:
Dryer Link:
Pressthe SETTINGS button,
When "DRYERLINK" appears in
the displag, press ENTER.Using
the _/1_ arrow kegs, select ON
and press ENTER.
When the washer cgcle is
completed, the washer will
communicate with the dryer when
ang button on the control panel is
touched or the door is opened.
The washer will displug,
"TRANSFERRING CYCLE
INFORMATION TO THE DRYER"
and the drger will displog,
"RECEIVING CYCLEINFORMATION
TO THE DRYER".
The drger will onlg communicate
with the washer if the drger is not
running a cgcle.
If the washer starts a new cgcle
before the drger has a chance
to communicate with it,
the information will be lost.
End-of-Cycle Volume:
Press the SETTINGS button. When
"VOLUME"appears in the display,
press ENTER,then select "End of
Cgcle'. Using the ,_/1_ arrow kegs,
select High, Medium, Low or Off.
Control Sounds:
Press the SETTINGS button, then
select "Volume". When "CONTROL
SOUNDS" appears in the disDlag,
press ENTER.Using the _/1_ arrow
kegs, select High, Medium, Low
or Off,
Display Brightness:
Press the SETTINGS button, When
"DISPLAYBRIGHTNESS" a ppears
in the displag, press ENTER.Using
the _/1_ arrow kegs, select High,
Medium or Low,
Water Hardness
(Only appears when SMART
DISPENSERPedestal Accessory
is connected to washer):

detergent dispensed automatically
