Spill Shelf
To Use the Dispenser
Select C UBED, CRUSHED or WATER.
Press the glassgentlyagainstthe top
of thedispenser cradle.
Thespillshelfis not self-draining. To reducewater

tf no water isdispensed whenthe refrigeratorisfirst
installed, t heremay be air in thewater linesystem.
Press the dispenser a rm for at leasttwo minutesto
removetrappedair from the water line andto fillthe
water system. T oflushout impuritiesin thewater
line,throw away thefirst sixglassfuls of water.
CAUTION: Never put fingers or anyotherobjects into
theicecrusher discharge opening.
Locking the Dispenser
Press the LOCK or LOCKCONTROLS pad for
3 secondsto lockthe dispenser a nd control panel.To
unlock,pressand holdthe pad againfor
3 seconds.
Dispenser Light
TheLIGHTpadturns thenight light in the #spenser
on and off.Thelightalsocomeson whenthe
dispenser c radleis pressed. Formodelswith a bulb,
if the lightburnsout, it shouldbe replacedwith a 6
watt 12Vmaximumbulb.ForLED modelscontact
FactoryService.
Ooor Alarm
UseDoorAlarm to soundif eitherdoor isopen
for morethan 3 minutes. T healarmwill stop
oncethe door isclosed.ForLCDmodels,a popup
screenwill aRpear. T healarmcan be silenced
by touchingthe LCDscreen.
TouchLEDDispenserControl:
Press the SET FEATURES pad onceand DOOR
ALARM will blink.Press ON/OFF and thedoor alarm
will beset and the iconwillturn solid.Press ON/OFF
againto turn the alarmoff.
Door Alarm
(on Tactile LEDDispenserControl
model)
To set the alarm,
press this pad until the
indicator light comes on.
This alarm will sound if either
door is open for more than 3
minutes. The light goes out
and the beeping stops when
you close the door.
Quick Ice
Whenyou needto speedup iceproduction, usethe
QuickIcefeature. W hilethisfeatureisturnedon,
thefreezer fan runscontinuously f or48 hours, o r
untilthe featureisturnedOFF. Duringthisperiod,ice
production will increase up to 40%.Models withthe
integrated icefeaturesystemrequire at FIRST U SE at
leasthalfan 8 oz.glass of iceto be dispensed every6
to 12 hours. T hiswillhelptheicemakerfillthebucket
properlysothat dispensing isbetter.

Precise
Fill (on some models)
Thiswater dispenser isequippedwith a feature
called"precise fill."Thisfeatureallowsyou to choose
a precise amount of water (cupsor ounces)that
you wouldlikedispensed. Pintsand Litersare also
availablefor LCDmodels.

Ifyou selectedOUNCES, pressthe A arM pad
to selectthe numberof ouncesyou wouldlike
to havedispensed between2-99 ounces.
Thedefaultis 8 ounces.
Ifyou selected CUPS,press the A or V pad to
select the amount you would like to have dispensed.
They are displayed as 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3 and 5/4, with
the highest amount being 16 ]/4 cups. The default
is i cup.

Pressthe cup against the cradle and water will
begin dispensing. It will automatically stop when
the amount sethas been dispensed. The display
will show the amount of water dispensed, beep,
then reset after 5 seconds.
NOTE:Do not leave the dispenser unattended when
water is being dispensed.
If you would like to stop dispensing water
before the specified amount has been
dispensed,just remove the cup from the cradle.
The display will show the amount that has been
dispensed for 5 seconds. If the cup switch is
pressed again within that time, the dispenser
will continue up to the set amount. If not, the
display will return to the set amount.
