FIELD CALIBRATION TEST
This laser level left the factory fully calibrated. Kapro
recommends the user check the accuracy of the laser
periodically, especially if the unit falls or is mishandled.
1. Check the height accuracy of the cross created by the front
vertical and the horizontal lines.
2. Check the height accuracy of the cross created by the
side vertical and the horizontal lines.
3. Check the accuracy of the front vertical beam.
4. Check the accuracy of the side vertical beam.
5. Check the perpendicularity between the 2 vertical beams.
1.Checking the height accuracy of the cross created
by the front vertical Horizontal lines. (Up and down
deviation)
1) Set up the laser on a table or on the floor between 3 walls
A, B and C. The distance between A and B should be
approximately 5 meters.
2) Position the laser level approximately 0.5 meters from wall
A and 2 meters from wall C.
3) Turn on the laser in automatic mode to project all 3 lasers
beams.
4) Direct the intersection point of the horizontal beam and the
side vertical beam towards wall A.
5) Mark on wall A the intersection point of the beams as a1,
and on wall C mark intersection point of the beam as c1
(see figure # 1).
