Operating the machine
Risk of death due to electric shock!
Only switch on the machine if these condi-
tions are met:
– The mains connection cable is in good
condition.
– The protective cover is fitted.
► Switch on the machine (Figure 3.2, 12).
The machine performs an empty cut and the feed rollers
are opened if they were last closed.
The starting page (Home) is shown in the display.

ATTENTION
The display can be damaged!
The display can be scratched by unsuitable tools.
► Operate the touch display with your finger or use an
input pen with a silicone head.
If the screensaver is active:
► Tap the display with your finger to deactivate
the screensaver.
There are two ways to perform processing jobs:
– Use the quickstart function for spontaneous processing
jobs.
– Use the joblist for prepared processing jobs that shall be
proceeded again and again in the same way.

WARNING
ATTENTION
The machine can be damaged!
If the wire end is reached during a cutting process, the
last piece of the wire can get stranded in the feeding
tube, between the feed rollers or between the knives and
block the machine.
► Before starting operation, make sure that there is
enough wire material to proceed the planned process-
es.
6.1 Using the quickstart function
With the quickstart function, processing jobs can be en-
tered and processed immediately. This allows you to work
without a predefined program.
► Tap Quickstart.
The menu is opened.

► Tap the input field Length.
► Enter the desired length.
► Tap the input field Quantity.
► Enter the desired number of pieces.
► Apply the input.
► If a feeder is connected: tap Feeder and choose the de-
sired feeding tube.
► Apply the input.
► If neccessary, tap Speed to adjust the speed.
► Continue as described in chapter 6.6.
The settings in the quickstart menu are retained until they
are changed or the machine is switched off.
