Draai de temperatuurschijf op de gewenste stand, afhankelijk van de soort stof die gestreken moet worden. Het toestel geeft een geluidssignaal en het temperatuurindicatielampje zal beginnen knipperen en het strijkijzer zal beginnen opwarmen.
