GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY
WARNINGS
WARNING!

instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may result in electric

WARNING! Risk of fire! When putting the
soldering iron down, make sure that the
hot tip does not come into contact with
combustible materials. Do not leave the
device unattended while it is hot. Allow it
to cool down before you store it away.
WARNING! The soldering tip reaches
temperatures of about 450°C. Touching
the metal parts can cause severe burns.
WARNING! The device must always be
placed on a non-combustible surface
when it is not in use. There is a potential
fire hazard.
WARNING! This tool must be placed
on its stand when not in use.

refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool
or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
1) Product use and safety
a) Do not leave the soldering iron unattended
when switched on. When in use, store the
machine in the provided stand.
b) Always fasten the nut tightly when
attaching the tip. This ensures a good
conduction of the heat.
c) Always turn on the device before it comes
into contact with the material that is to be
worked on.
d) Vapours which are harmful to health are
produced during the soldering process.
Ensure good ventilation or suitable vapour
removal.
