Only use the following batteries of the AX-POWER
20V battery platform. Using any other batteries
could cause serious injury or damage the tool.
CDA1158 20V, 1.5 Ah Lithium-Ion
CDA1154 20V, 2 Ah Lithium-Ion
CDA1155 20V, 4 Ah Lithium-Ion
The following charger can be used to charge
these batteries.

AX-POWER battery platform tools.

Inserting the battery into the AX Adapter

1. Insert the battery (18) into the base of the AX
Adapter (16) as shown in Fig. A.
2. Push the battery further forward until it clicks
into place.
Removing the battery from the AX Adapter

1. Push the battery unlock button (19).
2. Pull the battery out of the machine like shown
in Fig. A.

1. Place the soldering iron on the table/flat
surface.
2. Put the Power plug (13) into the Power inlet (9)
of the soldering iron until firmly connected.
3. Turn the AX adapter (16) on by pressing the
On/Off button (15). The indicator light (14) will
light up when switched on.
Before any work on the power tool,
remove the battery.
The battery must be charged before
first use.
Ensure that the exterior of the battery is
clean and dry before connecting to the
charger or machine.
When the machine is not being used over
a longer period of time it is best to store
the battery in charged condition.
The soldering tip has to be mounted
before initial use. See installing /
replacing soldering tip.
Make sure that the soldering iron is not
connected or turned off (15) on the
adapter (the indicator light (14) is not
turned on).
Make sure the soldering iron is turned off
and cold when replacing the soldering
tip.
