Before starting up the device, it is absolutely essential to read all the instructions, warnings and safety regulations.
Use the device only for the purpose for which it is intended. Uses other than those indicated in these instructions are to
be considered dangerous and the Manufacturer declines any and all responsibility for any damage to people, animals or
property deriving from failure to observe this warning.

SaFeTY reguLaTIonS
Check the data shown on the device data plate and make sure that the
rated mains voltage and the power available are suitable for its opera-
tion.
• Since it is an electrical device, it must never be touched with wet hands
or bare feet.
• The device is intended for internal use only, any contact with a jet of
water could cause electrocution
• Avoid improper use of extension cords, keep connections dry
• Prevent the power cable from being damaged and/or crushed and pro-
tect it from bumps, edges, sharp or moving parts.
• The device must absolutely not be used in hazardous environments,
where saturation with flammable gases is possible or where it can come
into contact with flammable liquids.
. During use, the device must not be accessible to children, animals and/
or incapable people.
• The room must be well ventilated to avoid concentrations of dust that
are harmful to health and/or that could catch fire.
• The cleaning or maintenance of the device must be carried out fol-
lowing the rules specified in the paragraph titled "MAINTENANCE AND
CLEANING".
• Do not move the device by pulling it by the power cable and, in any
case, always disconnect the plug from the mains socket before any
handling.
• Check the efficiency of the earthing system; the earthing of the device
is mandatory by law.
• Since it is an electrical device, in the event that it catches fire, to switch
it off, powder and NEVER water extinguishers must be used to avoid
electrocution.
• If the device is damaged or not intact in all its parts, do not use it.
• Any repairs, including the replacement of the power cable, if damaged,
must be carried out by the manufacturer or by the Technical Assistance
service or, in any case, by a person with similar qualifications, in order to
prevent any risk.
• In the event that the device is considered out of service and you wish to
dispose of it in an authorized landfill, you must make it inoperative by
cutting the power cable as close as possible to the outlet point of the
device, thus remembering to carry out this operation only if before the
plug will have been removed from the mains socket.
• Avoid dispersing the packaging parts in the environment and, as with
the device, do not leave them within the reach of children, minors, the
incapable beings or animals.
• The device must not be used by people (including children) with redu-
ced physical, sensory and/or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they are assisted, supervised or instructed.
• Children must not play with the device and must always be supervised.
• Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by minors, incapa-
ble beings and/or people with reduced physical and/or sensory capabi-
lities without supervision.
• The device can be used by minors over the age of 12 and by people
with reduced physical, sensory and/or mental capabilities or with lack
of experience and knowledge if supervised or instructed in the safe use
of the device and informed about the dangers involved.
• The manufacturer Novital srl declines any and all responsibility for any
damage to people, animals or property deriving from failure to observe
these rules.
WARNINGS
When using the device, wear work gloves, boots or safety shoes, a
protective visor, a dust mask and hearing protectors since the noise
exceeds 70 dba (decibels).

• It is always essential to remove the device plug from the socket before
carrying out any intervention or maintenance.
• If the door, the sieve or the handwheels are not properly secured, the
'triple safety' unit with which the device is equipped cuts off the de-
vice's power supply immediately, thus preventing accidental access to
moving parts; for this reason, special attention must be paid to their
assembly and they must never be eliminated and/or modified.
• In the case of the GOLIA 4V-DAVIDE 4V- MAGNUM 4V mill, the engine
is equipped with an automatic reclosing current cut-off thermal device,
so that in the event of an overload, the engine stops automatically and
then restarts after some time. This is not to be considered normal; the-
refore, it is advisable to switch off the device, remove the plug from the
mains socket and check for the causes before restarting.
• In the case of the BRAVÒ 4V mill, the engine is equipped with a thermal
current cut-off device with manual reclosing; therefore, in the event of
an overload, the engine stops automatically. This is not to be conside-
red normal, therefore, if it does, it is advisable to switch off the device,
remove the plug from the mains socket and check for the causes.
Only after the conditions for correct use have been restored it can be
restarted by pressing, after activating the device, the reset button (g)
(see FIG. 1 – E). If the causes cannot be identified and if the fact repe-
ats, it will be necessary to contact the authorized Assistance Center or
Novital srl.
• For the correct operation of the device, it is recommended to use well
dried, clean and suitably selected cereals and bread (if provided).
• The cereal must in no case undergo interventions to force its flow up to
the blades.
• The load level (a) marked inside the hopper indicates the maximum
capacity of ground cereal that the dust container (h) can collect; if the
whole hopper (b) is inadvertently filled with cereal, exceeding the load
level (a) indicated inside the hopper, you must intervene by emptying
the dust container (h). The intervention will make it possible to avoid
overheating of the residual product that would remain clogged in the
area inside the sieve (q) without the possibility of discharging into the
container (h). Before carrying out this operation, switch off the device
according to the indications contained in these instructions, thus re-
membering to close the gate valve (r) in the devices that are equip-
ped with it, by acting on the dedicated handwheel (f) (Bravò-Magnum)
(see. Fig. 1 - C)
• Never leave the device unattended with the engine running, even for a
short time.
• Since the device is equipped with rotating blades, during operation,
never and under any circumstances introduce your hands inside the
mouth of the hopper.
• During operation, always keep hands and feet away from the material
discharge mouth, even in the case of devices equipped with a dust-
proof container for the ground product.
• Be very careful not to introduce metal parts or hard bodies (such as
stones, bolts, glass, plastic, wood) into the mouth of the hopper as they
could irreparably damage the cutting parts and above all the engine.
generaL InForMaTIon
The electric mill is used to grind cereals, including corn, rye, oats, barley
and, if prepared, also bread and the like, with the possibility of obtaining
a more or less floury ground product. The mills are supported by three
legs to give stability during operation, facilitate the operations of assem-
bly and/or replacement of the sieves and use and/or removal of the dust
collection container of the ground; you will, therefore, have to assemble
them correctly, thus making sure that they are well fixed in their seats.
Using the supplied sieves, ground products of various sizes are produced
for animal feed.
For the production of finer flours, you can request special sieves (not sup-
plied).
