1. ALWAYSuse a rough-cut
blade,wheneverpossible.
2. MarkLheline-of-cut, then
position thestraightedge
paralleltocutlineandat
the same dietanceas
betweenthe bladeand the
sideedge of theeaw foot.
OR
3. Mark thesideedge ofthe
saw foot and then clampthe
straightedgeon the mark and parallel to the cut.
4. Asyou cut, keep the saw foot edgeflushagainst thestraightedge
andflat on the workpiece.
