Insert a suitable oil drain tube into the oil fill hole and secure.

Tilt the machine and drain all engine oil. Once drained, allow the machine to return to level.
7.
Fill the oil fill bottle with approximately 0.5 l of engine oil, then insert the nozzle into the oil fill hole and
carefully add oil to the engine until the maximum allowed is reached. Check the oil level (described above).
8.
When finished, reinstall (turn clockwise) the oil fill plug until firm. Clean any oil residue from the machine.
9.
Reinstall the motor access cover and secure with the 2 screws (turn clockwise).
AIR FILTER INSPECTION AND CLEANING
ATTENTION: The engine should never run without the air filter installed.
If you notice damage or alterations in the filter, replace it with a new one.
To clean the filters:
1.
Place the machine vertically on a flat, level surface.
2.
Remove the 2 screws (turn counterclockwise) securing the motor access cover
and remove the cover.
3.
Remove the 3 screws (1) (turn counterclockwise) securing the air filter cartridge
to the air intake assembly.
4.
Remove the air filter cartridge.
5.
Unhook the plastic cage from the air filter cartridge to remove the filter element.
6.
If the filter is foam wash it in warm water and neutral detergent, then let it dry.
Then moisten the filter with a few drops of clean engine oil and squeeze it to
spread the oil.
7.
If the filter is made of paper, use compressed air on the motor side of the filter to blow out the particles.
8.
To install the air filter, insert the filter cartridge into the air intake assembly and secure it with the 3 screws
(turn clockwise). Do not overtighten.
9.
Reinstall the motor access cover and secure with the 2 screws (turn clockwise).
SPARK PLUG
To clean/replace the spark plug:
1.
Lift and slide the spark plug access cap from the generator.
2.
Pull the power cable from the terminal at the top of the spark plug.
3.
If accessible, clean the area around the spark plug so that dirt or other
material cannot enter the engine when the spark plug is removed.
4.
Use the spark plug wrench to remove the spark plug (turn
counterclockwise).
5.
Remove carbon deposits on spark plug electrodes with a wire brush.
To reassemble the spark plug:
1.
Place the spark plug in its hole and screw it in (turn to the right) until
it is tight.
2.
Tighten the spark plug with the spark plug wrench approximately one
quarter turn (do not overtighten).
3.
Place the power cable over the spark plug terminal and push it down
so that it connects securely to the terminal.
4.
Reassemble the spark plug access cap.
