IR Cooking (For (Y)KMMF730 Only)
Some functions using IR cooking, such as Defrost, Reheat (some recipes), Soften/Melt, see below instructions to achieve the best
cooking result.
Instruction:
Do not cover the food with any cover or plastic wrap. Because the detector will sense the
temperature of the cover or plastic wrap first instead of the temperature of the food,
resulting in poor cooking results.
We recommend using dishes, bowls, cup containers. Do not use a net high bottle.
Putting the food in the center, moving the right side around 5 cm is recommended,
otherwise the IR sensor can not "see" the food well, see the right illustration for details.
Clean the IR sensor lens when the cooking performance is not good. See the "Clean The IR
Sensor Lens" section on the "Owner's Manual"

For optimal results, food should be 0°F (-18°C) or colder when defrosting.
Unwrap foods and remove lids (from fruit juice) before defrosting.
Shallow packages will defrost more quickly than deep blocks.
Separate food pieces as soon as possible during or at the end of the cycle for more even defrosting.
Foods left outside the freezer for more than 20 minutes or frozen ready-made food should not be defrosted using the Defrost feature
but should be defrosted manually.
Use small pieces of aluminium foil to shield parts of food such as chicken wings, leg tips, and fish tails. See the "Aluminium Foil and
Metal" section first.
Times and cooking powers have been preset for defrosting a number of food types.
