4.5 Creating a recovery code
It is very important to create the recovery key after pai-
ring the first smartphone. This key is essential to be able
to open the lock if you are unable to use the APP or the re-
mote control (either because you have lost your smartpho-
ne or you do not have it or a remote control). The key has 8 digits and
must be memorised, and if you write it down, keep it in a safe place
outside the home, where it can be used in case of emergency.
1- To do this, click on the arrow on the right to go to the options menu
and click on the "ENTER PASSWORD" button.
2- Enter the password, which must be 8 numerical characters long.
You must be able to remember the password entered at all times in
order to be able to open the lock in an emergency. See section 8.2.
