INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
Battery insertion
• The scale works with 2 batteries type AAA (1,5 V). (Not included).
• Open the lid of the batteries compartment and make sure the batteries are correctly placed.
WALL ASSEMBLY
• Make 1 hole in the wall. Put the 1 raw plug into the hole and then the chosen anchor.
• Then, hang it by the handle located on the back of the appliance on the wall anchor.
WEIGHING
• If you are going to use a container to weight, first place it on the platform. Also you can weigh the food
directly on the platform.
• Press /TARA and allow the display to set to "0". You can choose the weighing system in grams "g",
pounds:ounces "lb:oz", fluid ounces "fl.oz" or "ml" by pressing "MODO". Weigh the item.
• Bear in mind that if you are weighing in grams, the display will show up to 999 grams, after which it will
automatically display the weight in kilogrammes.
• You may add items to those already weighed without removing them by pressing /TARA after each
weigh. The display will show "0" and Tare.
• Place and remove the items with care.
• The appliance switches off automatically a few seconds after weighing.
• You may switch off the appliance by pressing /TARA for a few seconds.
MEASURING LIQUIDS (WATER – MILK)
• Press /TARA and allow the viewer to "0".
• The scale has the option to measure "ml", by repeatedly pressing "MODO".
• Place a bowl over the platform. Push /TARA to show "0" on the display. Make the measurement.
YOU MUST BEAR IN MIND
• Avoid exceeding the maximum capacity of the scale (5 Kg.). If the maximum capacity is exceeded the
message "Err" will appear on the display.
• You must proceed to change the batteries when "Lo" symbol is showed on the display. To do that, open
the cover placed in the back side of the appliance.
• Proceed to changing the batteries having in mind the correct position.
• The scale is a sensitive electronic instrument. Some appliances of high frequency as mobiles, radio
stations, remote controls and microwaves, can cause interferences if the scale is used nearly of them.
Keep it far away of these points if you notice irregularities on the display.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
• Dispose the batteries according to the local garbage regulations.
• Never throw away the appliance or the batteries to the rubbish. So you will help to the
improvement of the environment.
• The batteries must not be mixed with other domestic residues.
