The motor is a device that produces rotary motion when electricity is provided. As an analogy, the
battery is like a pump that pumps water through the piles (wires). When a circuit is connected, electricity
can flow through it. The electricity flowing is called a current. A current is the flow of electric charges.
The amount of a current is the amount of electric charge flowing in the wire in a second.
Another common term we often heard about electricity is the voltage. Voltage is referring to the electric
energy per unit charge. It is the electric energy of each unit amount of electric charge carries.
