1. Lung damage if no suitable protective dust
mask is used.

longer period or is not properly guided and
maintained.
5. Important information
Please read the operating instructions carefully
and observe the information provided. It is
important to consult these instructions to acquaint
yourself with the equipment, its proper use and
safety regulations.
Danger!
For safety reasons, the tile saw is not to be used
by children, young people under 16 years of age,
or any other persons who are not acquainted with
these operating instructions.
Portable tile saw for medium-sized tiles.
Cutting with the diamond blade.
Making angled cuts with the tiltable work
surface (max. 45 degrees).
Blade cooling with miter stop.
Trough as cooling water container (to fill the
trough you must remove the water container
cover).
If the blade becomes jammed, switch off the
equipment and disconnect battery; only then
are you to remove the workpiece.
6. Before starting the equipment
Warning!
Always remove the battery before making
adjustments to the equipment.
The machine has to be set up where it can
stand firmly, e.g. on a work bench.
All covers and safety devices must be
properly fitted before the machine is switched
on.
It must be possible for the diamond blade to
run freely.
Before you actuate the On/Off switch, make
sure that the diamond blade is correctly fitted
and that the machine's moving parts run
smoothly.
Before using the machine, check all parts

for damage and replace any parts that are
damaged. When replacing any parts or
accessories, always carefully follow the
instructions in this manual.
For optimum performance and maximum
safety, keep the machine clean at all times.
While the machine is running, check the
wearing parts and the fastenings of parts
which may have become loose and check
that all accessories are correctly fitted.
Caution! This tile saw is designed for use
with water.
Check that the water level is high enough to
cover the diamond part of the blade each
time before you start a cutting operation and
keep checking it during cutting as well. Fill/
refill the cooling water directly into the trough.
7. Assembly
Danger! Remove the battery before carrying
out any maintenance, resetting or assembly
work on the tile saw.
Assemble the equipment as shown in Figs. 3-12.
7.1 Fitting the diamond blade (Fig. 3,4,5)
To fi t the blade, proceed as follows:
Remove the water container cover (6) (Fig. 3).
Pull the blade safety guard (7) up and out
(Fig. 4).
Unscrew the nut (28) from the motor shaft
and remove the outer flange (15) (Fig. 4).
Place the blade (14) on the inner flange and
then fit the outer flange on the blade. Im-
portant! Check that the blade rotates in the
correct direction!
Screw the nut (28) by hand back onto the
motor shaft.
Place the ring spanner (19) on the nut (28)
and use the counter holder (20) to block the
motor shaft (Fig. 5).
Screw the nut (28) tight with the ring spanner.
Reinsert the blade safety guard and reinstall
the water container cover.
7.2 Fitting the splitter (Fig. 6)
Unscrew the pre-fitted fastening screw (13)
out of the cutting table (4).
Secure the splitter (18) on the cutting table
using the fastening screw.
The splitter must be positioned in the center
along an imaginary line extending behind the
blade (14), so that it is not possible for the
