this function, the timer display will

Cookware
It is important that you know the
characteristics of the utensils that can be
used on your hob (see picture 07 on page 6):
• Do not use cookware with jagged edges
or a curved base.
• Ensure that the base of the pan is
smooth, lies flat against the glass and
is the same size as the cooking zone.
Always centre the pan on the cooking
zone.
Suitable cookware (see picture 08 on page
6):
1. Stainless steel kettle
2. Iron pot
3. Magnetic stainless steel pot
4. Colour iron pot
5. Magnetic iron kettle
6. Aluminium kettle
7. Heat-resistant glass pot
8. Ceramic pot
9. Iron pan
Non suitable cookware (see picture 09 on
page 7):
10. Bottom not smooth
11. Bottom with feet
12. Small diameter of bottom
Overheating protection
Your cooking hob has a temperature sensor
and if the temperature detected is too high,
the induction hob will automatically shut
off.
Automatic safety shutdown
Your induction hob has a safety system
that will automatically shut the hob down
after 120 minutes if you forget to shut it
down and if no button is pressed during
this period. When you remove the cooking
pot, the induction hob immediately stops
heating.
COOKING GUIDELINES
It is necessary to take extreme
precautions when frying food,
since oil and grease heat up
very quickly. When oil and
grease reach extremely high
temperatures,
spontaneously burn with the subsequent
serious risk of causing a fire.
Cooking tips
• There is no access to the power cord
from the cabinet doors or drawers;
• There is enough fresh air flow from the
outside of the cabinet to the bottom part
of the hob.
• If the hob is installed over a drawer or
a cabinet there is a thermal protection
barrier under the bottom part of the hob.
• The isolator switch is easily accessible
for the user.
Simmering, cooking rice
Simmering occurs below boiling point,
at around 85˚C, when occasional bubbles
appear on the surface of the cooking
liquid. It is the key to delicious soups and
tender stews because the flavours develop
without overcooking the food. Egg-based
or flour-thickened sauces should also be
simmered.
Some cooking, such as cooking rice using
the absorption method, may require a
higher power level setting than the lower
setting in order to ensure that the food is
cooked properly in the recommended time.
