5. Open the lens cover by sliding the lens-cover-
release lever. (When the lens cover is closed,
the shutter cannot be released.)
6. Keep releasing the shutter until the exposure
counter shows "1," indicating that you are
ready to start shooting. The film-transport
indicator will flicker when the film is advancing
properly. If the indicator does not flicker,
the film is not properly loaded, so it should
be reloaded.
