Flash Photography
As vou depress the shutter button half-way when
taking pictures in poor lighting conditions such as
indoors, in a shady spot outdoors, etc., the red lamp
will glow inside the viewfinder, warning that you
have to use flash. To use the flash, push up the flash
lever until it stops, and the flash charging will start.
When the flash is fully charged, the flash-ready
lamp will glow, and you are ready to take a flash
picture.
Depending on the ISO number of the film you are
using, the flash-effective range varies as follows:
ISO 100 film: 1.4 — 4 meters (4.6 — 13.1 ft.)
ISO 200 film: 1.4 — 5 meters (4.6 — 16.4 ft.)
ISO 400 film: 1.1-4 meters <3.6 - 13.1 ft.)
NOTE; When it takes more than 20 seconds for
the flash-ready lamp to come on. the batteries are
no good, so they should be replaced.
