7. Maintenance, cleaning and calibration
7.1 Maintenance
This gas presence detector is maintenance-free.

Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer.
This does not apply to the rechargeable battery replacement.
7.2 Cleaning
Suitable cleaning agents

Cleaning the instrument
Prior to cleaning, remove the power supply unit.

Wipe the instrument surface using a soft, damp cloth.

Electrical connections must not come into contact with moisture!
7.3 Calibration
We recommend that the instrument is regularly calibrated by the manufacturer with time
intervals of approx. 1,200 hours of operation or at the latest after 2 years. The default
settings can be corrected if necessary.
In addition, the gas presence detector can be calibrated by the operator in order to
reach a maximum accuracy in the critical range.

and the environment. Decomposition products in the dismounted
instrument can result in a risk to persons, the environment and equipment.

instrument and the product label.
