WARNING
The chopping blades are sharp! Please handle
with care. Especially when removing the blades
from the glass bowl, emptying the glass bowl
and during cleaning. Use extreme caution when
handling the blades. Always hold them by the
shaft. Do not attempt to sharpen the blades.
CAUTION
Place the glass bowl on a clean, flat
surface.
Non-slip pad can be placed under the
chopper glass bowl for stability.
Do not use the glass bowl right after being
taken out from dishwasher or refrigerator.
Be sure it stays at room temperature for at
least 5 min before use.
If preparing food for babies or young
children, always check that the ingredients
are thoroughly blended before feeding.
To ensure consitent processing, stop and
scrape down any food from the side of the
glass bowl with a plastic spatula.
The best results are obtained by chopping
small quantities at one time.
Do not fill the chopper glass bowl more
than half-bowl for better mixing.
Do not mix ingredients larger than
2x2x2cm.
Always allow hot food to cool before
processing.
Do not operate chopper continuously for
longer than 10 seconds in any 4 minutes
period.
Do not operate the appliance at no-load.
If the chopper overheats, unplug the
appliance and let it cool down for
approximately 10 minutes before using
again.
Beware of over processing some
ingredients, stop and check the consistency
frequently.
Before chopping nuts, herbs, breadcrumbs
etc, ensure that blades, glass bowl and the
cover are thoroughly dry.
Remember that chopping hard foods
such as coffee beans, spices, chocolate
or ice will wear the knife blades
faster.
If the chopper labours, remove some
of the mixture and continue processing
in several batches, otherwise you may
strain the motor. To avoid overloading
the appliance, you can;
-
Add more liquid ingredient.
-
Process in several small batches.
-
Use a higher speed setting.
Do not attempt to process very thick
recipes such as bread dough or mash
potatoes.
