A1.5 BravoFIL operation
BravoFIL is a self-cleaning filter with a dual-action filter cleaning system (cartridge brushing + backwashing). During the
operating phase the water enters the filter and cross the filtering cartridge, from the outside to the inside.
In order to clean the filter is enough to rotate the upper knob: five brushes scrape the surface of the cartridge and
contemporary the water that enters is diverted into a secondary filter and sprinkled by means of a turbo jet on the
internal surface of the cartridge (backwashing). The automatic opening of the discharge valve ensure the elimination of
the dirt removed during the backwashing.
The BravoFIL's cleaning brushes are equipped with silver inserts which contrast the bacterial proliferation on the filter
element.
BravoFIL filter is equipped with a 360° brass connection plate that can turn at intervals of 90° and non-return valve
incorporated.

A1.8 Specification for water to be treated
BravoFIL has been designed and created for the treatment of drinking water.
If the water to be treated is not potable, process water and/or cooling water please contact Acqua Brevetti s.r.l. (tel.

BravoFIL cannot be used to filter water containing any kind of chemicals (for example acids, bases, solvents,
detergents, antifreeze, glycols etc.).

A2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

A2.1 Periodic maintenance
Perform periodically the following checks:
 Filter cleaning
Every 3-4 days and anyhow when the hydraulic pressure at users disposal is reduced (clogging of the filter elements)
rotate clockwise the upper green knob. If necessary repeat the operation. Put the filter back in the filtrating position
(verify that the bottom discharge is closed).
During the cleaning operation the filter discharges some water. The discharge connection must be canalized in a drain.
In order to clean the external part of the filter (knob, brass body and bowl) use a humid soft rug. Do not use any kind
of detergents and solvents.
