8.2.
INTERCOM CALL MANAGEMENT
To make an intercom call:
Lift the handset;
Press
or
to send the call to the video door phone or door phone with which you want to establish
a conversation (see the procedure for programming the buttons under par. 4.4 PROGRAMMING THE
INTERCOM FUNCTION);
While waiting for a response, the warning LED is lit red;
When the called video door phone answers the call, the warning LED remains ON with steady orange
light throughout the conversation.
Hang up the handset to interrupt the conversation.
8.3
OPENING THE DOORS
When a call is received, during conversation (audio active), the following actions are possible:
activate the pedestrian gate electric lock by pressing
activate the garage gate lock by pressing .
8.4
STARTING COMMUNICATION WITH THE CALL STATION
It is possible to start communication with the call station directly from the door phone, without pressing any
call button on the entry panel.
With the handset hanged up, press the button on the door phone, the warning LED turns on with a steady
red light. Then lift the handset to start communication with the call station, the warning LED steady light
turns orange.
Entering the conversation, the LEDs of the call station camera will also be activated.
Hang up the handset to interrupt the conversation (however after 3 minutes the device switches off).
8.5
CALL TONE MUTING
It is possible to adjust the call volume to the point of excluding the ring tone (MUTE) by moving the
sliding cursor (see par. 3. COMPONENTS DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES).
The MUTE mode is highlighted by a red indication on the ringer volume indicator (1) located on the front
side of the door phone.
If the cursor is set to MUTE during a call all acoustic signals (beeps) and any additional ringtones
will be disabled.
8.6
SUPPLEMENTARY RINGER
The door phones are provided with a pair of terminals (K, Z) for connecting a supplementary ringer. This
ringer is controlled when any call tone is generated.
8.7
DOOR PHONE CALL TONE SELECTION
In systems with several apartment station it may be useful to differentiate the call tone of the various devices.
To access the ringer selection, with the system in stand-by mode, keep the button
more than 5 seconds. When programming is accessed, the red warning LED will flash slowly and 3
confirmation beeps will be emitted;
Press ;
The door phones will emit the call tone;
Press to vary the tone;
To exit the programming mode, keep the button pressed until you hear 3 confirmation beeps and the
red warning LED stops flashing.
In all cases, the device will quit programming mode and save any changes after 10 minutes.
