Diagonal belt comfort pad
(optional according to model)
Your car seat may come with a comfort pad which can be placed on the diagonal car
seat belt when the seat is used for groups 2 and 3. The comfort pad prevents your
child's neck from being in direct contact with the car seat belt.
Open the comfort pad (27). Place it around the diagonal car seat belt and close it us-
ing the velcro bands (28). Position the comfort pad so that it is level with your child's
shoulder (29).
Returning to the harness configuration
(group 1, depending on the
model)
Follow the instructions below if you wish to return to the harness configuration. Re-
install the crotch strap, making sure that the metal keeper is correctly in place under
the seat (30). Via the front of the backrest, between the cover and the shell, grasp and
twist the metal anchor of one of the two upper sections of the harness, simultaneously
pulling the section through from the back (31). Thread the harness section through
the side openings of the shell and cover and re-install it via the front of the backrest at
the desired height (32). Check that the metal anchor of the harness section is correctly
positioned behind the backrest (33). Repeat the operation with the second harness sec-
tion. Check the harness is not twisted.

Storage of the instruction manual
Store this instruction manual, depending on the model of your vehicle, either in the
pouch provided, or by slipping it into between the shell and the cover of the seat.
Maintenance advice
All the material parts can be removed. Slight stains can be removed using a damp
sponge soaked in soapy water or it can be washed by hand at 30° in soapy water. Do
not use bleach, do not iron, do not machine wash, and do not tumble dry.
