OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TESTING TIRE PRESSURE
1. Press the on/off switch (B) for 1-2 seconds to start
the gauge.Reading of 0.0 PSI appears on the
display (C). (See Figure 1)
2. Push gauge nozzle (A) onto tire valve. Make sure
that a good seal is made between the gauge
nozzle (A) and valve stem so that no hissing sound
of escaping air is heard. (See Figure 2)
3. Hold gauge on valve stem until the reading locks
on the display (C). (See Figure 3)
4. Promptly remove gauge from valve stem and read
pressure. (See Figure 4)
NOTE
You may continue to use the gauge for another
tire pressure test even though the previous reading is
still displayed by following the above steps 2 and 3.
NOTE
The gauge features an automatic shut-off within
60 seconds from start.
NOTE
The on/off switch (B) also functions as a
RESET button. By pressing the on/off switch (B), the
reading on display (C) will revert to ZERO.
RELEASING AIR PRESSURE FROM TIRE
1. Press the pressure release button (D) for several
seconds. The hissing sound of escaped air can be
heard around the pressure release button (D).
(See Figure 5)
2. Repeat steps 1,2 and 3 in the above section of
"TESTING TIRE PRESSURE".
3. When releasing the air, push the on/off switch (B) to
read the current air pressure.
NOTE
The reading on the display (C) will stay
unchanged when air is releasing around the pressure
release button(D).
