Intended Use:
This cordless tool can be used as a sander or polisher. As a sander, it is designed to remove material with an attached sanding disc. As a polisher, a
softer accessory, such as a foam or wool pad, is attached and can be used with polishing compound.

Abrasive Installation
● Always remove the battery pack, before installing, removing or adjusting any accessory on this tool, or before performing any maintenance
on this tool or any accessory.
● Backing Pads should be inspected for signs of irregularities such as fractures, excessive wear, nicks and cuts at the edge of center hole.
Pads showing such characteristics should not be used.

Spindle Lock
For Sanding Disc/Polishing Pad Installation:
1. Press in the spindle lock.
2. Thread backing pad/hook & loop pad onto spindle.
3. Center sanding disc/polishing pad and attach onto backing pad/hook & loop pad.
Switch Lock
The switch lock is an additional safety feature. It locks the trigger and is used when attaching accessories, storing the tool, or when tool is not in use.

Parts and Maintenance
Tool repair and maintenance should only be carried out by an Authorized Service Center.
Refer all communications to the nearest Ingersoll Rand Office or Distributor.
