of the equipment as shown in the connection diagram.
— This allows all the units of the same line to also be switched on and
off by means of the remote control.
Before initial operation
— Switch all the equipment off before you begin to connect the
individual components with cables.
— Connect the individual components as shown on page 4.
— Make sure that all connections are made property Loose connec-
tions can lead to malfunctions.
— Please make sure that the surface on which the equipment is to
be located is sufficiently stable, to eliminate the potential fire
hazard represented by the equipment falling over.
— Ifthe components are not to be used for a long time please pull the
mains cable for the amplifier out of the power socket. Always hold
the plug, and do not pull on the cable, when connecting to or

covered over. If the equipment is to be installed in a shelf
— Keep the components away from sources of heat (radiators,
heaters, direct sunlight and other places with high temperatures)
so that no intemal or external parts can be damaged by over-
heating.
For your own safety
— Never touch the mains plug with wet hands.
— Make certain that no objects, especially metal objects, (coins,
paper clips etc.) can get inside the equipment through the
ventilation slots.
