Safety
Please refer to the "Safety" chapter in the operating instructions for the pump, as well as the safety and warning informa-
tion in the material safety data sheet for the feed chemical used.
DANGER!
Fatal injury by electrocution
Regularly inspect the mains connection line for dama-
ge and wear.
Do not switch on the pump and secure it to prevent it
from being switched on in the event of visible damage
to the pump or the mains connection line.
Disconnect the pump from the mains/power supply
before working on the pump.
Have skilled personnel replace any damaged cables.
CAUTION!
Uncontrolled start-up of the metering process
The pump can start the metering process in an uncon-
trolled manner as soon as it has been connected to the
supply voltage.
Fit an Emergency Stop switch in the mains power line
for the pump.
Pay attention to any error messages during commis-
sioning.
Ensure that the hydraulic components are at atmo-
spheric pressure before commencing work on the
pump.
NOTE
Material damage caused by ruptured hydraulic com-
ponents
Hydraulic components can rupture if the maximum per-
missible operating pressure is exceeded.
Always keep the shut-off valve open when operating
the product.
Fit a relief valve in the pressure line.
NOTE
Material damage caused by use of the wrong feed
chemical
The wrong feed chemical can damage the wetted parts
of the product.
Only use an appropriate feed chemical. Note the infor-
mation in the Resistance List.
Check all hose and pressure lines and their connec-
tions for damage once operation has ended.
Arrange for maintenance personnel to rectify any da-
mage that has occurred.
