To Start the mini bike
a. Install battery packs.
b. Sit on the mini bike.
c. Insert the key into the ignition and rotate clockwise moving from the OFF position
"O" to the ON position "I". The LCD screen will illuminate.
d. Hold the handlebars with both hands, straighten the mini bike, and fold/retract
the kickstand. NOTE: The box around the "D" icon appears, and "READY" icon will
start flashing indicating that the drive system needs to be engaged.
e. Select Drive mode: ECO, NORMAL, or SPORT. See "SPEED LIMITER" chapter for
activating SPORT mode.
f. With one foot on the ground and the opposite foot on the footrest to maintain
balance, turn on the headlight (high beam or low beam depending on the ambient
lighting).
g. Press "READY" button to engage the drive system. The "READY" icon now
displays solid.
NOTE: If the rider does not start the mini bike within 1 minute after pressing the READY
button, the "READY" icon will turn off and the mini bike will return to the state it was in
step f.
h. Gently rotate the throttle to propel the mini bike forward. The speedometer will
display the current riding speed. When the riding speed is lower than 2 MPH (3
km/h), the READY icon will remain illuminated. As soon as the speed reaches or
exceeds 2 MPH (3 km/h), the READY icon will turn off.
NOTE: To operate the mini bike in reverse, follow steps a thru g. Then press the "R" of
the Horn/Reverse switch and hold. The "D" icon will disappear and a solid "R" icon will
display on screen and the mini bike will start to move backwards.
WARNING:
reversing the mini bike.
DANGER:
A quick twist of the throttle effects instant acceleration – the mini bike
might move suddenly, causing you to lose control or fall off the mini bike. Not following
this instruction may cause serious injury!
