And then, place the chosen disc over it. Lastly, Lock lid onto bowl (Refer to "How to assem-
ble and lock the lid" section). The Discs are reversible and have a different function from
one side to the other. These functions are marked (F1,F2,P1,P2,R1,R2) on the black plastic
parts on each side of the discs. Note that the desired side shall be facing up.
Potato & Coarse Julienne Disc
F1: Cuts potatoes for thin French Fries
F2: To cut in julienne strips of coarse size
Slicer & Medium Julienne Disc
P1: To slice food – Eg. Fruits, Cheese, Potatoes, Vegetables
P2: To cut in julienne strips of medium size
Shredder & Fine Julienne Disc
R1: To Shred food – Eg. Fruits, Cheese, Potatoes, Vegetables, Chocolate, Nuts
R2: To cut in julienne strips of small size
4. To slice/shred large foods (such as chunk of cabbage, green pepper, whole tomato) open
the lid, insert food and lock lid.
*To julienne vegetables, slice then remove from bowl and restack the vegetables. Pack into
food chute with slices vertical. Slice again to make match-stick cut vegetables.
To slice/shred long, thin foods (such as potato, pepperoni, carrots, celery). Lock lid. Long
foods can be inserted into the chute opening and processed as long as the food chute lid
is closed.
5. Insert food pusher in chute. Always use the food pusher to feed food into the chute.
NEVER PUSH FOOD THROUGH CHUTE WITH HANDS.
6. Plug in the unit.
7. To turn on, select speed while holding the food pusher (Low (I) / High (II) for optimum
slicing and shredding performance or PULSE to process food.
About using the Pulse function:
Rotate the knob counterclockwise for short bursts plus hold it for longer bursts. The Pulse
function runs at high speed only. The Food Processor will turn off when the Pulse button
is released.
NOTE: The food chute lid is designed to pivot towards the right when processing food that
fills the whole food chute capacity.
8. When food chute is empty, select OFF(O) or release from PULSE position. Wait until the
blade has stopped rotating before removing the lid.
9. Unplug the unit.
HOW TO RELEASE SUCTION CUP FEET AFTER USE
The suction cup feet on the bottom of your Food Processor are designed to keep the unit
