Cleaning/replacing the impeller unit
Take the pump out of the pump chamber.
Disassemble the pump as shown in the figure.
– During cleaning the air hose remains in the intake socket.
Clean all parts with a soft brush and clear water. If applicable, clean the foam filter with clear
water.
If the impeller unit is damaged or worn, replace it.
Reassemble the pump and the SwimSkim in reverse order.
During reassembly, check the position of the air hose in the intake socket.
Ensure that the air hose is inserted up to the mark so that the water aeration works cor-
rectly.
Storage/winter protection
The unit is not frost-proof and has to be removed and put into storage if minus temperatures
are expected.
How to correctly store the unit:
Thoroughly clean the unit.
Check the unit for damage and replace damaged components.
Store the pump submerged and in a frost-free environment.
Protect electrical connections from moisture and dirt.
